Veteran entertainment columnist and TV host Cristy Fermin has responded to Vice Ganda’s jabs during the latter’s recent “Super Divas” concert with Regine Velasquez at the Araneta Coliseum.
In a segment of the show, Vice spotted close friends Lassy Marquez and MC Muah in the audience and teased them, saying, “So you made it. Bakit kayo nandito? Magagalit si Cristy Fermin! Akala nila magkakaaway tayo, sisirain ninyo ‘yung narrative. Mawawalan sila ng content.” The comment drew laughter and applause from the crowd, with Lassy and MC joining in the amusement.
On the August 11 episode of her program Cristy Ferminute, Fermin dismissed the insinuation that she fabricates stories about Vice or his friends. “Anong content? Ano? Inimbento namin ‘yong kuwento? Hindi kami nag-iimbento ng kuwento. May binasa kami. Alam mo ‘yan, MC!” she said.
She went on to urge Vice and his circle to “magpakatotoo” (be truthful), warning, “Nasa palibot mo lang ang mga ahas na tumutuklaw sa ‘yo. Puwede ba magtigil nga kayo? Magpakatotoo nga kayo!”
The tension traces back to a vlog filmed in Palawan in May 2025, where Vice publicly called out MC for allegedly not knowing how to get along during group trips. Fermin later commented on her show that she was deeply affected by MC’s visible distress during that moment, saying she was moved by “yung pagluha niya, ‘yung paghagulhol niya.”
