‘Hello, Love, Again’ sets record with P85 million opening day gross in PH

The movie “Hello, Love, Again,” featuring popular stars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, made an impressive debut by earning over P85 million on its first day, marking the highest opening gross for a local film. The sequel to the 2019 blockbuster “Hello, Love, Goodbye” was showcased in 656 local cinemas, the highest number ever for a local film release. The film, directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, is set to be screened in a total of 1,000 cinemas worldwide.

Both Bernardo and Richards expressed their excitement and gratitude for the overwhelming support. “We are very happy, very fulfilled, and did not expect such an amazing turnout for the film,” Richards shared. Bernardo added, “Thank you so much to everyone who watched the midnight screenings, block screenings, and to those who will be watching in the coming days. We were so happy last night. Thank you.”

The film’s world premiere on Tuesday saw attendance from fellow celebrities and network executives from ABS-CBN and GMA-7, followed by midnight screenings that drew enthusiastic fans.
