Harry Roque considers returning to PH, says he’s ready to face Marcos—even behind bars

Former presidential spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque has revealed that he is thinking about returning to the Philippines to personally face the charges filed against him. Speaking from the Netherlands, Roque said he is prepared to go head-to-head with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., even if that means doing so while behind bars.

Roque, who previously applied for asylum in the Netherlands, said he could no longer stay quiet amid what he described as irregularities under the Marcos administration. He stressed that he has no involvement in the illegal offshore gaming operations in Pampanga, contrary to the accusations of some lawmakers.

According to Roque, he is not guilty of the allegations linking him to Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) and asserted that he has nothing to hide.

He also acknowledged the possibility of being detained if he returns home but maintained that he is willing to fight for what he believes is right, even from inside a jail cell.
