The Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot has surged to P200 million, aiming to drive lotto sales and enhance charity funding during the festive season, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced.
PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles revealed that for the first time, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day draws will be held this year. The jackpot could rise to P202.5 million following Monday’s draw, which had no winners.
Draws for the Grand Lotto take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
Since 2023, the PCSO has launched marketing campaigns under the “Handog Pakabog” initiative, increasing lotto game jackpots. Robles noted that these efforts have significantly boosted revenues.
