Filipino P-pop group BINI continues to make international waves, landing a spot on the Grammy Awards’ list of 12 rising girl groups to know. The eight-member group, consisting of Aiah, Sheena, Gwen, Maloi, Jhoanna, Stacey, and Mikha, has been praised for their EDM-driven pop sound, blending English and Tagalog lyrics.
BINI is the only Filipino act featured on the list, joining other groups such as 4EVE, Kiss of Life, and Citizen Queen. The Grammy write-up highlighted BINI’s impact on Southeast Asia’s music scene and their historic achievements, including being the first Filipino act on Spotify’s Top Artist Global Chart and performing at KCON.
Prior to this, BINI received the “Voices of Asia” award at the Billboard K POWER 100 event in Seoul. The group also made it onto Teen Vogue’s “12 Girl Groups to Watch in 2024.”
BINI is set to take the stage for their three-day Grand BINIverse concert this November. Formed in 2019 through ABS-CBN’s Star Hunt Academy, the group officially debuted in 2021 with their hit “Born To Win.”
