Dubai motorists involved in minor accidents can now have their vehicles repaired immediately after obtaining a report at a fuel station, the Dubai Police announced on Friday. This new initiative, named ‘On The Go’, is available at Enoc stations and involves a collaboration between the Dubai Police and car repair shop Autopro.
According to a Khaleej Times report, the service targets drivers who have been involved in minor mishaps where the other party is unknown. Previously, it was possible to obtain minor accident reports at Enoc stations, but the new initiative goes a step further by enabling immediate vehicle repairs.
Here’s how the service works:
Obtain a minor accident report at an Enoc station.
Proceed to the Autopro shop at the station.
The damaged vehicle will be transported to an authorized workshop.
Once repairs are completed, the vehicle will be delivered to the driver’s home.
The service is free for seniors, people of determination, and pregnant women. Other drivers can use the service for a fee of Dh150.
