Taxi fares in Ajman have seen a reduction as of November 1st, in response to a drop in fuel prices, the Ajman Transport Authority announced on Tuesday.
After four consecutive months of rising fuel costs, the UAE fuel committee unveiled the petrol prices for November, showing a decline. Subsequently, the taxi rate in Ajman has been adjusted to Dh1.83 per kilometre, a decrease of 7 fils from the previous rate of Dh1.90 in October.
The revised petrol prices for the month are as follows: Super 98 at Dh3.03 per litre, Special 95 at Dh2.92, E-Plus 91 at Dh2.85, and diesel at Dh3.42 per litre.
The drop in rates is expected to bring significant savings for the residents. Some anticipate they can now allocate an extra Dh200 in their monthly budgets due to these changes.
