GoMommy.ae officially launched in Dubai on November 22, 2024, through a unique tree-planting event at the Jebel Ali Wildlife Sanctuary. Organized in partnership with The Storey Group and the Emirates Marine Environmental Group (EMEG), the event replaced the traditional hotel-based grand launch with an environmentally focused initiative.
The activity brought together several community leaders, including Major Ali Saqer Sultan Al Suwaidi, President of EMEG, who lauded the initiative as a model for how businesses can integrate environmental advocacy into their operations.
During the event, Horia, a representative from EMEG, delivered an insightful talk on the importance of mangroves in preserving biodiversity and combating climate change.
Malathi Desaram of The Storey Group, who organized the tree-planting activity, emphasized the importance of corporate partnerships in driving meaningful environmental impact.
The event also marked the official introduction of GoMommy’s eco-conscious mission. As a DIY website-building platform offering an alternative to GoDaddy and Mailchimp, GoMommy combines affordable and user-friendly digital solutions with a strong focus on environmental advocacy. The company’s GoGreen Campaign, in partnership with the One Billion Tree Planting Initiative (OBTI), plants a tree for every website created, contributing to global reforestation efforts.
