Gold prices soar to new high in Dubai, 24K now at AED 416.5 per gram

Gold prices in Dubai reached another record high on Tuesday, with the 24-karat variety now selling at AED 416.5 per gram — marking a sharp increase of over AED 11 within just 24 hours.

Other gold categories followed suit, with 22K rising to AED 385.5 per gram, while 21K and 18K were trading at AED 369.75 and AED 317.0 per gram, respectively.

This surge mirrors a global rally, as spot gold climbed to $3,472.22 an ounce early Tuesday morning UAE time, boosted by a weaker US dollar and ongoing uncertainty in US-China trade relations.

Some analysts are now eyeing even bigger numbers. “With continued tariff tensions, gold could hit $4,000 an ounce as early as this year,” several research firms projected, revising earlier forecasts that placed that milestone in 2026.
