Travellers arriving at Dubai International Airport (DXB) over the weekend were greeted with a heartwarming surprise as Global Village marked the launch of its 30th season with a creative gesture.
To celebrate the milestone, the popular multicultural destination distributed 1,000 specially designed luggage gift boxes at Terminal 3, each carrying the cheerful message: “Pick me up! I’m your welcome gift.” The boxes, seen gliding along the baggage belts, immediately caught the attention of arriving passengers—many of whom paused to take photos and share smiles with their families.
Inside, the gift boxes were filled with exclusive Global Village Season 30 memorabilia, including themed water bottles and bags. The festive atmosphere grew livelier when Global Village mascots Zoya, Waleef, and Ozka made a surprise appearance, greeting guests and posing for pictures.
The activation comes just days after the grand opening of Global Village’s new season, which promises more attractions, cultural experiences, and entertainment for millions of guests visiting the renowned family destination.
