Visitors heading to Global Village this evening are being urged to arrive early as the park prepares to roll out what it is calling the largest drone display of its current season, scheduled for Friday, January 9, at 7.15pm.
The announcement follows the venue’s high-profile New Year’s Eve programme, when the destination marked the arrival of 2026 with a coordinated series of fireworks and drone performances aligned with the midnight countdowns of several countries, including China, Thailand, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, the UAE and Turkey. That multi-time-zone celebration set the benchmark for large-scale aerial displays this season.
Organisers said the upcoming show will surpass previous performances in scale, positioning it as the most ambitious drone spectacle mounted at the park so far in Season 30. The display will take place alongside the regular evening attractions that draw winter crowds to the outdoor destination.
Beyond the aerial performance, Global Village continues to offer nightly entertainment on its main stage, themed pavilions representing different countries, a wide range of international food stalls, cultural showcases, retail outlets and amusement rides.
Ticket prices remain unchanged, with weekday entry from Sunday to Thursday priced at AED25, excluding public holidays. Admission for any day of the week is set at AED30, while children below the age of three, senior citizens aged 65 and above, and people of determination are granted free entry.
