Global Village to reopen October 15 with new gardens, dragon adventure, and kid zones

Global Village is gearing up for its 30th season, opening on October 15, 2025, with a host of new attractions, immersive zones, and major upgrades designed to deliver its most spectacular experience yet.

Among the highlights is the debut of Gardens of the World, a scenic haven showcasing floral masterpieces and global landmark icons. Located between the Egypt and Iran pavilions, the garden is envisioned as a peaceful retreat for families to stroll and relax amid colorful blooms.

For smoother navigation, Way Finding screens will be placed across the park, while visitors can collect stamps in their new S30 Passports, turning each pavilion visit into a keepsake moment.

A major crowd-puller this year will be The Dragon Kingdom, an interactive walkthrough experience featuring 11 themed rooms. Guests will embark on an adventure through the mythical realm of Blackstone Hollow, helping “Ignis, the last dragon,” regain his power through puzzles and challenges across enchanted forests and fiery caverns.

Young visitors are also in for a treat with The Little Wonderers at Carnaval®, a neon-themed indoor adventure park set to open later in the season. The area features obstacle courses, climbing zones, tunnels, and glowing slides designed to spark imagination and play.

The Main Stage has undergone a complete transformation, now larger and fitted with advanced production elements to host grander live performances and cultural shows.

Global Village has also enhanced its facilities with new ticket counter screens, LED directional signage, and refreshed landscaping. The iconic Dragon Lake, which holds a Guinness World Record for the largest underwater display screen, is being upgraded with a clearer screen and new fire effects for its central dragon.

Guests entering from the Sharjah and Abu Dhabi gates will be welcomed by newly designed arches, while the Sharjah Tunnel receives a vibrant new theme. Fiesta Street is expanding, and the Railway Market has been reimagined as Dessert District, combining nostalgic charm with modern design.

Other returning favorites include the Indian Chaat Bazaar, now with a fresh look, Happiness Street featuring a new canopy, and Asia Boulevard, which continues to celebrate the region’s diverse food and culture.
