Global Village extends hours for Ramadan festivities, welcoming guests until 2 am daily

Dubai’s renowned Global Village is gearing up to welcome guests with an array of delightful experiences for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. With revised opening and closing hours, the multicultural family destination aims to provide a vibrant atmosphere from 6 pm to 2 am, offering extended hours of enjoyment compared to its regular schedule.

During Ramadan, visitors can indulge in diverse iftar and suhoor options representing various cuisines. The newly introduced Ramadan Wonders Souk, modeled after a traditional Emirati market, promises an assortment of unique trinkets from around the globe, offering guests a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of the UAE.

Exciting prizes await guests participating in the Step Challenge, accessible through the Global Village mobile app. By achieving 10,000 steps in a single visit, participants stand a chance to win Samsung Galaxy mobile phones, Apple, and Samsung smartwatches in weekly draws throughout Ramadan.

Entertainment offerings abound at Global Village, with daily performances by the Arabian Orchestra on the Main Stage, showcasing the talents of 30 artists. Live shows featuring dual harps, violin performances, and a mesmerizing Tannoura show will captivate audiences on both the Main Stage and the Wonder Stage in Mini World.

As the weekend approaches, the sky above Global Village will come alive with musical fireworks every Friday and Saturday at 9 pm, complementing the transformation of Dragon Lake into a Ramadan-themed spectacle complete with exclusive laser and fire shows. The iconic Ramadan Cannon will mark the end of fasting each day at sunset.

Younger guests can look forward to weekends filled with fun and entertainment at the Kids’ Theatre, featuring Arabic puppet shows and a special Ramadan edition of the Kaleidoscope Show.
