Global Village, Dubai’s premier multicultural family destination, rang in 2025 with a spectacular series of countdown celebrations. Each countdown aligned with a different global time zone, featuring dazzling fireworks and captivating drone shows that illuminated the sky with the message “Happy New Year.” The breathtaking displays left a lasting impression on attendees, reinforcing Global Village’s reputation as a key highlight in Dubai’s annual calendar of events.
Visitors enjoyed a vibrant New Year’s Eve filled with live performances on the Main Stage, an exhilarating DJ show, and engaging roaming acts throughout the park. The unique experience extended to shopping across 30 cultural pavilions representing 90 global cultures, dining at over 250 outlets, and enjoying more than 200 rides and attractions. Highlights included the new Restaurant Plaza, offering two-story dining options, and Exo Planet City, an intergalactic attraction for all ages.
