Starting April 14, 2024, GGICO Station on Dubai Metro’s Red Line will officially carry a new name—Al Garhoud Metro Station, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed on Friday.
The announcement was made via a post on X (formerly Twitter), which included a map update reflecting the name change. This marks the latest in a series of metro station rebrandings across the city.
Just last month, Al Khail Metro Station was renamed Al Fardan Exchange Station following a naming rights agreement with the financial services provider.
