Dubai’s GGICO Metro Station on the Red Line officially gets a new name starting today, April 14, 2024. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that the station will now be known as Al Garhoud Metro Station, aligning it with the area it serves.
The name change was confirmed by the RTA in a post on X, where they also shared a metro map showing the updated station name.
This update follows a similar move last month when Al Khail Metro Station was rebranded to Al Fardan Exchange Station as part of a naming rights agreement with the financial service company.
