Dubai’s winter camping season will kick off on October 21, running through to the end of April 2025, providing a secure environment in Al Aweer for residents and visitors to enjoy the desert landscape.
The Dubai Municipality announced that permits will be available for a minimum of three months and up to six months, with a fee of 44 fils per square meter for areas up to 400 square meters.
Businesses offering camping supplies can also apply for permits in designated commercial zones. Campers must adhere to safety rules, such as keeping camps fenced, following fire safety measures, and maintaining site cleanliness. Fireworks, flashlights, and loudspeakers are prohibited. Applications can be submitted through the Dubai Municipality website or apps.
