The Dubai Run 2024 is set to return on November 24, transforming Sheikh Zayed Road into a massive race track. Known as the world’s largest fun run, this event will see the iconic highway closed to traffic for several hours, allowing runners, walkers, and joggers of all ages to participate.
Last year’s Dubai Run drew over 226,000 participants, and organizers anticipate an even larger turnout this year. The run is a key part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), which kicks off on October 28 and concludes on the day of the Dubai Run, November 24.
Now in its eighth edition, the Dubai Fitness Challenge encourages residents and visitors to engage in 30 minutes of daily exercise for 30 days, promoting a healthier lifestyle. The challenge, launched in 2017 by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to unite the community in achieving fitness goals.
Other activities during the challenge include the Dubai Stand-Up Paddle on November 2 and the Dubai Ride on November 10. Registration details for the Dubai Run will be available soon on the official Dubai Fitness Challenge website.
