Gerald Anderson has cleared the air surrounding his relationship with Julia Barretto, firmly denying speculations that the two have broken up.
In an interview on Toni Gonzaga’s YouTube show Toni Talks, Anderson was asked head-on about the status of their relationship following online chatter fueled by the couple’s reduced presence on each other’s social media pages.
“No, we’re okay,” the actor assured, explaining that he had just dropped Julia off at the airport for her flight to Dubai. “Kaya medyo napaaga ako,” he added.
When asked again if the rumors were true, Anderson repeated, “No.”
Gonzaga also mentioned rumors that Julia had deleted photos of them on Instagram, which Anderson quickly denied with a short but firm, “Hindi.”
Though the couple’s social media interactions have noticeably lessened, Anderson’s comments put an end to speculations, reaffirming that their relationship remains intact. He subtly reminded the public that assumptions made based on online activity don’t necessarily mirror reality.
