Georcelle Dapat-Sy hopeful for reconciliation with Sarah Geronimo after professional split

Georcelle Dapat-Sy, the founder and CEO of G-Force, announced the 17th annual G-Force Project, offering training opportunities to aspiring dancers of all ages. This year’s program will take place throughout June, with participants showcasing their talents in a dance concert scheduled for July.

Georcelle, in an interview with ABS-CBN News, highlighted the impact her group has had on the entertainment industry, noting, “Some of them become actors, some of them become influencers. They see us in ‘ASAP’ and other TV shows and concerts they would want to be trained by the same trainers of the celebrities that they see on TV.”

Reflecting on her professional breakup with long-time muse Sarah Geronimo last year, Georcelle remains positive despite the challenges. “I’m okay. I think of it as a catalyst for change,” she explained, acknowledging the difficulty the split posed for her team. “It shook us, but like dance, it’s a metaphor for life.”

Despite the past tensions and having not spoken to Sarah since their heartfelt conversation before her last concert, Georcelle remains hopeful for reconciliation, saying, “In time. I am praying for it.”

Looking ahead, G-Force is set to open a new branch in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, aimed at accommodating the working and older demographic, alongside a program specifically for young children and their parents.
