The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, currently under Hamas administration, announced on Monday a significant increase in casualties amid ongoing conflict with Israel. Since the start of the war on October 7, the besieged Palestinian territory has witnessed the death of at least 23,084 individuals.
In a recent statement, the ministry highlighted a worrying escalation, reporting 249 fatalities in the last 24 hours alone. Furthermore, the total number of injured individuals in Gaza has reached 58,926 during the more than three months of hostilities.
