Filipino fans in the UAE are in for a musical treat as the beloved husband-and-wife duo, Sweetnotes Music, is set to perform live in Dubai on June 21, 2025 (Saturday). Known for their soulful OPM renditions and viral performances, the pair will grace the stage at Hall 02, South Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), Expo City.
Organized by BRAND GPU Events, a newly established events company in Dubai committed to bringing high-caliber Filipino artists to the UAE stage, this concert marks another milestone for the local Filipino entertainment scene. BRAND GPU Events aims to deliver unforgettable experiences by spotlighting talent from the homeland for OFWs and Filipino music lovers in the region.
Sweetnotes, composed of Jeffrey S. Bactong Jr. and Charlotte Mae P. Bactong from General Santos City, rose to fame with their heartfelt cover performances blending sequencer-based arrangements and live vocals. Their emotional interpretations of classics like “Parting Time” and “Minamahal Kita” gained them millions of views and a massive following online. In 2024, they embarked on a successful U.S. tour, further solidifying their reputation as a top Filipino musical act abroad.
