The BST’s All-Spark GameVerse made its mark at Dubai Outlet Mall last August 30 and 31, 2025 with another weekend of unforgettable fun and family experiences! The celebration marks the anniversary of BST’s All Spark event in 2024 with a twist by launching the GameVerse.
Powered by Comicave and supported by an incredible line-up of partners such as ZGames, Funko, Rove Hotels, CGC, Middle East Film s Comic Con / FNDM, Ichiryu Ramen House, 52 Toys, Quiccs, The Global Filipino Magazine, and host of collecting communities, the event transformed the host venue into a living universe of pop culture, gaming, and creativity, where fans, collectors, and families gathered to celebrate their shared passions.
A Celebration of Community and Creativity
Across two days, visitors immersed themselves in nonstop activities, surprises and entertainment. Hourly raffles kept the excitement alive, while the Magic: The Gathering tournament hosted by the Duel Commander community brought competitive energy and strategy to the floor.
Similarly, the Hot Wheels and Die Cast Collectors community thrilled both kids and adults alike with one of the longest tracks for Hot Wheels die-cast racing. Adding to the excitement, the event also featured an extensive showcase of creativity through intricate handicrafts and diverse artistry, complemented by a dynamic lineup of pop-culture merchandise exhibitors, ensuring that there was something new and exciting to discover at every corner.
Funko MENA exclusively released at the event its newest Funko Photobooth featuring Sung Jinwoo of the Solo Leveling franchise, an anime that has recently captured strong popularity across the region.
FNDM, the latest pop-culture event operated by the same team of Middle East Film and Comic Con, has provided free passes to lucky participants to attend their event this October 4-5, to be held at The Concourse Convention Center. Along with ROVE Hotels, winning a staycation experience is what everyone was waiting for to be announced.
In addition, ZGames had come to the forefront to award the winners of the GameVerse Tournament winners from Street Fighter and Tekken on both days.
Beyond the pop-culture festivities, the event was graced by the presence of the Honorary Consul General of the Philippines to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, Mr. Marford Angeles, who took the time to meet and engage with participants. He was also honored by the BST Team led by Ian Eleria, Maynard Cruz and Gilbert Rosario, for his exemplary support of Filipino culture in the region. Adding further prestige to the occasion, the Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, His Excellency Alfonso Ver, made an unexpected visit, making the celebration even more memorable.
