Free training in Abu Dhabi aims to guide OFWs toward earning rental income in Dubai

A new property investment session tailored for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) is set to take place in Abu Dhabi, offering a detailed look at how Filipinos can enter Dubai’s booming real estate market and eventually become rental property owners. The program, organized by FHI Global Property and Filipino Homes, is being held in collaboration with Azizi Development, one of the major developers behind several large-scale communities shaping the emirate’s skyline.

The training highlights a moment of rapid expansion in Dubai, where government-led mega projects are driving demand for both homes and short-term rentals. Organizers say these developments — from airport upgrades to theme parks and new transport links — are fueling a surge in property values and creating strong opportunities for investors willing to enter early.

One major project drawing global attention is the redevelopment of Al Maktoum International Airport. Planned to eventually handle up to 260 million passengers per year, the expansion is expected to draw more residents and workers to surrounding zones, increasing the need for rental units in nearby communities. Another development spurring market activity is the upcoming Disneyland-style destination in Dubai, which is anticipated to pull in heavy tourist traffic and boost short-term rental demand.

Participants will also receive insights on how the ongoing Dubai Metro expansion is influencing the property sector. New stations and districts typically lift surrounding real estate prices, and the city’s broader push to build master-planned communities, economic zones, and tech-driven districts continues to create opportunities for residential investors.

Speakers say the goal of the session is to help OFWs understand how to move from renting to acquiring assets that can generate passive income. The organizers cite the current pace of Dubai’s rental market, where units are being leased within days and rates have grown consistently in recent years, as evidence of what landlords are earning in today’s environment.

The program will cover several investment pathways, including low-capital entry strategies and co-ownership options that allow first-time investors to participate at a manageable cost. Attendees will also hear real examples of Filipinos who are already earning monthly rental income from their Dubai properties. The training promises a step-by-step guide designed to help workers map out their first investment, even while maintaining full-time employment.

The free event will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, 29 November, at Synergy Hub International, 17th Floor, 1701, Mohd Al Otaiba Building on Najda Street in Abu Dhabi. Interested participants can register through the this online form, and inquiries may be directed via WhatsApp at 050 647 0652.
