In a heartwarming gesture for Mother’s Day, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) has teamed up with UBE Express to offer free shuttle rides for Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) mothers at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminals on May 11, 2025. This special initiative aims to honor the unwavering love and sacrifice of OFW mothers traveling in and out of the country.
According to OWWA’s announcement on their official Facebook page, the free rides are available throughout the day, providing a convenient and cost-free transportation option for mothers either departing from or arriving at NAIA. The partnership with UBE Express ensures that eligible mothers can enjoy a seamless journey to and from the airport terminals.
The initiative is part of OWWA’s ongoing efforts to recognize and support OFWs, particularly mothers who have made significant sacrifices to provide for their families abroad. UBE Express, known for its premium point-to-point (P2P) bus service, operates regular routes connecting NAIA Terminal 3 to various destinations in Metro Manila and nearby provinces, including Cubao, Robinsons Place Manila, and Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Mothers availing of the free ride can access UBE Express buses primarily at NAIA Terminal 3, which serves as the main pick-up and drop-off point. Passengers from Terminals 1, 2, and 4 are advised to proceed to Terminal 3 to board the UBE Express buses.
