Free Green Zone Day Pass tickets for the COP28 UAE event are now available for the public. This notable event will take place in Expo City Dubai from December 3 to 12, 2023.
The Green Zone, managed by the COP28 Presidency, aims to foster greater interaction and engagement beyond the confines of the Blue Zone, which is restricted to accredited delegates. This inclusive area is open to a broad spectrum of attendees including delegates, public and private sector representatives, NGOs, and the general public. Children aged 12 and under can enter without registration, making it a family-friendly environment.
However, access to the Green Zone during the initial phase of COP28, from November 30 to December 2, is limited to invitation-only guests. Post this period, the doors will open to ticket holders.
What makes the Green Zone particularly exciting is its lineup of activities. It is poised to be the world’s largest gathering of climate activists and enthusiasts, featuring over 300 talks, discussions, interactive exhibits, art installations, and film screenings centered around climate change and sustainability. More than 200 groups, including private companies and civil society organizations, will provide visitors with a wealth of information and learning opportunities.
The Green Zone’s official hours are from 10am to 6pm, with some special events extending into the evening hours from 6pm to 10pm.
