Free Fazaa memberships now available to families living in the UAE under new gov’t initiative

Families residing in the UAE can now register for complimentary Fazaa discount memberships following a joint initiative launched by Fazaa and the Ministry of Family in line with the Year of the Family 2026.

Ahmed Mohammed Buharoon, General Manager of Fazaa, said the initiative is part of broader national efforts to provide resident families with an environment that supports their well-being and stability.

To be eligible, a family must have at least one child. Memberships will remain active through the end of 2026.

The membership package covers a wide range of everyday needs — from discounts at more than 34,000 retail outlets across and beyond the UAE, to savings on over 28,000 food and consumer products through Fazaa Stores. Through the Fazaa Amakin service, members can also access discounted rates at more than 500,000 hotels worldwide, while the Fazaa mobile app offers up to 70% off tickets and entertainment activities.

Hessa Abdulrahman Tahlak, assistant undersecretary for the development sector at the Ministry of Family, said the initiative reflects a longstanding national value. “The UAE believes that the well-being of society begins with the well-being of every family living on its land and that the stability and happiness of families are central to the country’s vision for enhancing quality of life and building a more prosperous and cohesive community,” she stated.

Tahlak also described the initiative as a continuation of the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whose approach to governance, she said, was grounded in embracing people of all backgrounds, recognising their contributions, and fostering dignity among all residents.

Registration is open through the official Fazaa website at www.fazaa.ae. A dedicated support team is available via the call centre to assist with enquiries and digital card activation.
