BurJuman Mall is putting the spotlight on Filipino culture this June as it hosts a four-day celebration in honor of the 127th Philippine Independence Day. Running from June 12 to 15, the mall invites people from all walks of life to experience the rich heritage and joy of the Filipino community through vibrant performances, striking installations, and special treats.
The centerpiece of the celebration is a bold display of the Philippine flag, installed in key areas of the mall as a symbol of pride and remembrance. Visitors can pose for photos while reflecting on the country’s journey to freedom.
On June 12, the mall comes alive with back-to-back cultural performances at 5 PM, 7 PM, and 9 PM, showcasing traditional dances and musical numbers that paint a vivid picture of Filipino talent and storytelling.
Adding a sweet touch to the festivities, Costa Coffee is handing out free donuts on June 12 and 13 at the Customer Service Desks—an unexpected treat for mallgoers, available while supplies last.
One of the event’s highlights is Kalayaan at Pag-ibig, a musical showcase by WCOPA artists happening on June 13 from 6 PM to 8 PM. The show blends themes of love and freedom, capturing the essence of what it means to be proudly Filipino.
