Renowned Filipino actor and producer Allen Dizon is set to grace the Global Filipino Career & Entrepreneurship Summit 2025 not just as a guest — but as one of the featured speakers aiming to inspire Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) through his powerful story of transformation and purpose-driven success. The event will take place on June 29 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek.
A respected figure in both mainstream and independent entertainment, Dizon is best known for his compelling shift from daring roles in the late 1990s to critically acclaimed performances in socially relevant films. He has earned numerous Best Actor honors from FAMAS, Gawad Urian, and international film festivals including those in Warsaw, Hanoi, and Dhaka for standout films like Twilight Dancers, Dukot, and Magkakabaung.
At the summit, Dizon will join a lineup of industry leaders, creatives, and professionals who will speak to over 800 attendees — most of them OFWs — about career growth, entrepreneurship, and personal development. His message is expected to resonate deeply with the Filipino diaspora, particularly those navigating transitions in life and work abroad.
Dizon’s television work also includes memorable roles in Doble Kara (ABS-CBN), First Yaya, and Abot-Kamay na Pangarap (GMA Network), where he’s known for playing layered, morally complex characters. As a producer, he has further helped shape Philippine independent cinema, using his platform to highlight critical social issues and advocate for change.
He joins fellow celebrity guests Dennis Trillo, Jennylyn Mercado, Joross Gamboa, and Liezel Lopez — all of whom will take part in this milestone event hosted by The Global Filipino Magazine, a leading publication for OFWs and overseas professionals.
The summit is expected to be a convergence of stories, strategies, and experiences meant to uplift and equip Filipinos abroad with the tools and motivation to succeed globally.
