Forgot your SSS number? Here’s how to retrieve it if you’re an OFW in UAE

Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Dubai and the Northern Emirates no longer need to fret if they’ve forgotten their Social Security (SS) numbers. The Social Security System (SSS) has recently announced a hassle-free online method for OFWs to retrieve their lost or forgotten SS numbers.

OFWs looking to reactivate or continue their SS membership can simply send an email from their personal account to dubai@sss.gov.ph. This new initiative saves them a trip to the SSS office, ensuring convenience and efficiency.

This service is primarily targeted towards members in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. However, Filipinos residing in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and the western region of the UAE can also avail of this service by emailing abudhabi@sss.gov.ph.

It’s important to note that actively contributing members who are aware of their SS number need not take any action. But the SSS encourages everyone to spread the word amongst colleagues and friends in the UAE to help those in need of this service.

For additional inquiries or clarifications, OFWs can reach out to the SSS helpline at 056-2123426. The service line is open from 9:00am-12:00nn and 1:00pm-3:00pm, Sundays to Thursdays, excluding holidays.
