Light rain and strong winds swept across different areas of the UAE on Sunday, with wind speeds reaching up to 40kph. The country also experienced chilly temperatures, with the lowest dropping to 8.1°C in Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah, at 8:00 AM.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), Monday’s weather will generally be clear but partly cloudy at times. Humidity is expected overnight and into Tuesday morning, with a possibility of fog or light fog in some inland areas.
By Tuesday, the weather is forecast to turn partly cloudy to cloudy in certain areas, including the islands and parts of the north and east, with a slight chance of drizzles and a gradual increase in temperature. Winds will remain light to moderate but may become stronger, stirring up dust at times.
Similar weather conditions are expected on Wednesday, with continued chances of light rain and active winds, particularly over northern and eastern areas.
By Thursday, the skies are expected to clear slightly, becoming mostly sunny to partly cloudy with calmer winds.
