Abu Dhabi residents have been issued a red and yellow fog alert due to reduced visibility caused by dense fog across the city. Motorists are advised to exercise caution, as the speed reduction system has been activated on several internal and external roads. Drivers are encouraged to follow the speed limits displayed on electronic boards for safety.
Today’s weather will remain generally fair with partly cloudy skies, Khaleej Times reported. Citing the National Meteorological Centre (NCM), humidity levels are set to rise overnight, potentially leading to more fog or mist in coastal and inland areas by Wednesday morning.
Winds will range from light to moderate, with occasional fresh gusts. Sea conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf, while the Oman Sea will experience slight conditions. Abu Dhabi is expected to reach a high of 41℃, and Dubai, 40℃, with humidity levels ranging from 20% to 95%.
As the UAE transitions into autumn, residents should prepare for unpredictable weather changes, including a gradual decrease in temperatures by approximately 5℃ between September and November.
