Dubai-based carrier flydubai has opened its new Business Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport’s (DXB) Terminal 2, offering enhanced comfort and convenience for premium passengers.
The 900-square-metre lounge, located after passport control and security, accommodates over 200 passengers. Business Class travelers can enjoy direct boarding via dedicated buses from the lounge, ensuring a seamless journey.
Designed with a modern aesthetic inspired by desert dunes, the space combines natural light, warm tones, and minimalist interiors. It features various seating options, dining areas, and quiet zones, along with panoramic tarmac views through its glass facade.
Passengers can access a range of amenities, including an international buffet, à la carte dining, shower facilities, a prayer room, free Wi-Fi, workstations, and charging stations.
Hamad Obaidalla, flydubai’s Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the milestone as part of the airline’s 15th anniversary, emphasizing its commitment to improving customer experiences both in the air and on the ground.
The new lounge launch follows the recent opening of flydubai’s business class check-in area at Terminal 2, further enhancing premium travel services ahead of the busy holiday season.
