Ambassador Alfonso A. Ver, along with Vice Consul Regatta Marie Antonio-Escutin and Vice Consul Kevin Mark Gomez, welcomed the first batch of applicants for the UAE Government’s Amnesty Program at the Philippine Embassy today.
The Amnesty Program, which runs from September 1 to October 31, 2024, offers expatriates an opportunity to rectify their immigration status in the UAE. This initiative allows individuals to either regularize their stay in the country or return to the Philippines without facing any legal repercussions.
The Philippine Embassy urges all Filipinos in the UAE with immigration concerns to take advantage of this program to resolve their status and avoid future complications.
