Dubai is set to celebrate UAE Flag Day and UAE National Day in grand style with a month of festivities starting November 3 and culminating on December 2. A variety of events will take place across the city’s iconic landmarks, including Expo City, Dubai Frame, Museum of the Future, and Mall of the Emirates. Dubai Airports will also join in the celebrations, welcoming visitors with cultural displays and traditional performances.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the celebrations, which aim to honor the nation’s founding fathers, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and reinforce the UAE’s national identity. The campaign, led by 16 government, semi-government, and private organizations, will feature cultural events at venues such as Hatta Heritage Village and Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood.
Highlights include the return of the UAE Flag Garden near Burj Al Arab, two free public concerts at Expo City’s Al Wasl Dome, and a Union Day Parade at City Walk on December 2. Fireworks will light up the skies at JBR Beach, Al Seef, Hatta, and Dubai Festival City Mall on December 2 and 3, while Global Village will host nightly fireworks.
Dubai’s parks and roundabouts will shine with light displays, and special markets will showcase local products. The city’s rich heritage will also be celebrated with traditional dances, folk music, and interactive performances across several venues.
