A massive fire broke out on Monday afternoon, destroying three warehouses filled with electrical appliances in Industrial Area No. 1, Sharjah. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as workers managed to escape safely, according to the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority.
According to a Gulf News report, firefighters swiftly responded to the emergency after receiving a call at 3:35 pm. Civil Defence teams worked quickly to contain the blaze and successfully prevented it from spreading to nearby warehouses. Cooling operations have commenced at the site, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
Sharjah Police closed off surrounding roads to facilitate emergency response efforts. Forensic experts are expected to take over the site for further investigation.
