A fire erupted on June 11 at a building materials store in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, and authorities are currently working to control the blaze. The Abu Dhabi Police and Civil Defence Authority are on the scene and have advised residents to follow official sources for updates.
According to a Khaleej Times report, the police had previously cautioned the public against “rubbernecking,” emphasizing that this behavior disrupts traffic and hampers the efforts of emergency responders. They reiterated that gathering at accident sites is a punishable offense in the UAE.
Additionally, authorities warned against taking and sharing photos or videos of the incident on social media. Such actions are deemed inappropriate and can result in legal consequences.
