FiND Network hosts inaugural Saudi Arabia national roundtable for Filipino nurses

The Filipino Nursing Diaspora (FiND) Network celebrated a significant milestone on 11 October 2024 with the successful conclusion of its inaugural Saudi Arabia national roundtable meeting. Held virtually, the event brought together Filipino nurses across the Kingdom, united in their shared goal of addressing challenges, advancing professional development, and enhancing the collective impact of Filipino nurses in Saudi Arabia’s healthcare sector.

Organized under the leadership of Dr. Glenn Valdez, FiND’s Country Representative for Saudi Arabia, and Byron Opinion, FiND’s Global Advisor for the Middle East, the roundtable opened a new chapter for Filipino nursing professionals in the region. The event provided a platform for meaningful dialogue on issues such as leadership, career progression, and the importance of continued collaboration.

Dr. Glenn Valdez, in his opening statement, expressed his pride in the contributions of Filipino nurses in Saudi Arabia, noting their crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare. “Today’s roundtable is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our Filipino nurses here in the Kingdom. Byron Opinion, FiND’s Global Advisor for the Middle East, also shared his insights during the event, highlighting the significance of collaboration within the Filipino nursing diaspora. “This roundtable is the beginning of something great.
