Filipino Social Club strengthens ties with DMW leaders in Dubai dinner meeting

Key officials from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) met with the Board of Directors of the Filipino Social Club-Dubai (FilSoc) over a productive dinner meeting, reaffirming their shared commitment to the welfare and development of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the UAE.

The gathering was attended by DMW Secretary Hans Cacdac, Undersecretaries Atty. Felicitas Bay and Atty. Jainal T. Rasul Jr., along with Labor Attaché Atty. John Rio Bautista. FilSoc leadership took the opportunity to share ongoing community initiatives and updates, emphasizing the enduring bayanihan spirit that defines the Filipino community in Dubai.

FilSoc also discussed the current progress of their request for land to establish a permanent venue for Filipino community and cultural events. Secretary Cacdac expressed his support for the initiative and welcomed the positive developments shared during the meeting.

In a show of unity, Secretary Cacdac confirmed his participation in the upcoming Philippine Independence Day celebration in Dubai on June 14, a flagship event highlighting Filipino culture, pride, and resilience.
