In a heartfelt call for inclusivity and unity, the Filipino Social Club (FilSoc) – Dubai has extended a special invitation to Filipino People of Determination across the UAE to take part in the upcoming Grand Community Parade during the 127th Philippine Independence Day celebration on June 14, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
In a Facebook post, FilSoc encouraged individuals with disabilities—including kinetic, mental, sensory, developmental, or psychological—to join the vibrant cultural gathering as the Filipino community commemorates freedom, resilience, and diversity.
“This is a celebration of unity and respect for every ability,” the organization stated, emphasizing the importance of creating space for all voices and abilities in national festivities. The theme of the celebration, “Filipino Pride: Embracing Diversity, Celebrating Unity and Love of Country,” highlights the community’s commitment to inclusiveness and empowerment.
The Grand Community Parade is among the highly anticipated segments of the event, which will also feature cultural dance competitions, fashion showcases, youth-led creative performances, and interactive zones like “Kalye Arte,” “Modern Balagtasan,” and “Likha ng Siyensya.”
