Dubai is set to welcome a vibrant lineup of international talent at the highly anticipated Sole DXB 2024, and among the performers is Filipino rapper Hev Abi, who will take the stage next month. This year, the festival promises three full days of entertainment with extended hours and an expanded range of attractions. Attendees can look forward to main stage live performances on all three nights, as well as a new, more intimate second stage featuring genres such as dance, world, jazz, and R&B. The festival will also launch an exclusive VIP platform experience, allowing fans to get closer to their favorite acts with Stage Front passes. Additionally, the event boasts an even larger food selection and showcases over 100 global and regional brands.
Joining the illustrious artist lineup alongside Hev are notable names such as The Roots, DJ Questlove, James Blake, Tems, JID, Ezra Collective, and more. The diverse roster underscores Sole DXB’s commitment to showcasing eclectic talent and celebrating the intersection of music, art, and fashion.
Hev has been making waves in the music scene since his debut in 2020 with the single “Pusong Bato.” His breakthrough came in 2023 with the viral hit “WELCOME2DTQ,” which garnered millions of streams and became a favorite on TikTok. Following this success, Hev released his debut album Kung Alam Mo Lang in October 2023, featuring hits like “Alam Mo Ba Girl,” “Walang Alam,” and “Sumugal.” The album highlights his talent for blending rap and melodic vocals, resonating with themes of love and camaraderie.
Apart from his musical accomplishments, Hev is the co-founder of Downtown Q Entertainment, an independent record label that collaborates with other rising artists, including Kristina Dawn and Simmo. His music often celebrates the vibrant culture of his hometown, Quezon City, weaving his personal experiences and community spirit into his work.
