Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez has secured a spot in the finale of The Voice US after delivering a stunning rendition of Elvis Presley’s “I Can Dream” during the live shows.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Sofronio expressed gratitude to his Filipino supporters worldwide and in America, saying, “Thank you so much to my Filipinos everywhere and in America who gave so much love and support.” He also urged fans to keep voting and praying for him as he heads into the final round.
Sofronio is part of Team Michael Bublé, which impressively produced two finalists this season. Sharing his excitement on Instagram, Bublé said, “To see both Shye and Sofronio make it to the finale was incredible,” referring to Vasquez and his other finalist, 18-year-old Shye Roberts.
The remaining finalists for season 26 include Danny Joseph (Team Reba McEntire), Sydney Sterlace (Team Gwen Stefani), and Jeremy Beloate (Team Snoop Dogg).
The The Voice US finale will air on December 9 and 10.
