IchiRyu Ramen House was named Best Ramen Restaurant UAE in the Arabian Best of Best Awards 2025 held last June 14, 2025 at the Movenpick Grand Albustan Hotel, Dubai.
This is the second time the award-giving body recognized IchiRyu’s world-class food and service after being honored last December 2024. IchiRyu was also the only Filipino-owned company recognized by the Arabian Best of Best Awards this year.
Present in the awarding ceremony were Executive Chef Touru De Guzman, President and COO Karl De Guzman, CFO Mary Rose Marcellano, Head Chef Mark Paul Ovido, and Marketing Director Beth Climaco – De Guzman.
In her speech, Climaco – De Guzman recognized the people behind IchiRyu Ramen House.

Arabian Best of Best Awards, organized by The Golden Tree Awards, aims to recognise and reward the best performers in the Arabian region such as United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait for more than 20+ industries such as Professional Business Services, Technology, Real Estate, Travel & Tourism, Beauty, Cosmetics, Construction, Robotics, Automation and other industries. This year, there were a total of 10,000+ nominees and 1,000 + winners from over 100+ countries across the globe.
This recognition comes at perfect timing as IchiRyu will soon open its second branch in Dubai.
“It is with great pride and honor that we formally announce the upcoming opening of our second branch in Dubai. It will be a Kyoto-inspired restaurant located at Marina First and is scheduled to open this September 2025,” said IchiRyu President and COO Karl De Guzman.
IchiRyu Ramen House, the home of the best ramen in the UAE, is the first Japanese restaurant to bring the bocchi seki or solo dining section to the country. Its main restaurant is located at Wasl Port Views Building 7, Al Mina Road, Jumeirah 1.
