Filipino nurse researchers establish KSA-UAE chapter to boost healthcare innovation

The Global Society for Philippine Nurse Researchers Inc. has officially launched its KSA-UAE Chapter on March 8, 2025, marking a significant step in strengthening nursing research and professional development in the Middle East.

Since its establishment in December 2024, the organization has gained strong interest from nurses, researchers, and allied health professionals eager to collaborate on research initiatives. The newly formed chapter aims to serve as a platform for knowledge-sharing, networking, and enhancing research skills among healthcare professionals.

The KSA-UAE Chapter is led by Maurice Joy G. Cudal, a Filipino nurse and research development consultant based in Saudi Arabia. Passionate about nursing research, Cudal is committed to empowering fellow healthcare professionals through education and collaboration.

To support its members, the organization has introduced a series of workshops, seminars, and research collaborations designed to promote professional growth and innovation in the nursing field.

The chapter’s launch reinforces the mission of advancing evidence-based care and improving patient outcomes in the region. Members are encouraged to take part in the society’s initiatives, ensuring that Filipino nurse researchers in KSA and the UAE contribute to the global nursing research landscape.
