Filipino-led trading school expands in Dubai to teach more global learners

Global Miranda Miner Group (GMMG), a Philippine-born institution known for its focus on ethical cryptocurrency and stock trading education, has strengthened its global footprint by formalizing its operations in Dubai. The company’s newly licensed entity in the emirate will serve as a central base for its expanding international programs.

The decision follows a series of well-attended Crypto Bites events staged in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. These sessions drew participants from a wide range of nationalities, a shift that GMMG founder and CEO Arlone Abello says has reshaped the organization’s outlook. “This expansion basically means understanding from a cultural landscape how we can further tailor-fit our brand to suit the palette of not just Filipinos who are into the financial world, but also non-Filipinos,” he said.

The diverse turnout has convinced the group that interest in structured, responsible trading education extends far beyond Filipino communities. Abello noted how attendees from India, Pakistan, East Africa, and other regions have increasingly become part of the learning ecosystem. “We’ve seen firsthand how people from all walks of life – Indians, Pakistanis, East Africans – join our Dubai events. It shows that our mission to teach responsible trading transcends nationality and language,” he added.

GMMG’s flagship Crypto Bites series, designed as a learning and networking forum for traders and investors, has been central to this momentum. The events feature expert discussions, guided trading sessions, and mentorship access, while also spotlighting learners through scholarship awards. In response to its widening audience, the group has rolled out English-only programs through Elite University to accommodate non-Filipino participants.

Abello said that even a participant from Japan had joined a recent Dubai event, noting, “We even had a Japanese student attend our event in Dubai. That gives our brand an international flavor and readiness we’re proud to build on.”

The expansion aligns with GMMG’s global educational initiatives, which recently included a $33,000 scholarship grant to more than 200 aspiring traders worldwide. The scholarship awarding took place during Crypto Bites Singapore, a Token2049 side event, further cementing the group’s presence across major crypto hubs in the Middle East, Taiwan, and Europe.

Fresh from being named Blockchain Educator of the Year 2025 at the Philippine Blockchain Awards, Abello underscored the importance of grounding traders in values-based decision-making and critical understanding. “Our goal is not just to teach the mechanics of buying and selling crypto but to help people understand the ethos behind it. Education is the key to empowerment and protection.”

With Dubai positioned as its international gateway, the group plans to broaden the reach of Crypto Bites in 2026 and strengthen ties with both Overseas Filipino Workers and non-Filipino traders seeking structured and ethical trading education.
