Franki Russell, a former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate, is continuing her pageant journey by representing New Zealand in the inaugural Miss Cosmo pageant. The event is set to take place in Vietnam this October. Russell, who is of Filipino and Kiwi descent, will compete against Ahtisa Manalo from the Philippines, among other contestants.
Previously, Russell was appointed as New Zealand’s delegate for this year’s Miss Universe competition. However, due to the Miss Universe New Zealand franchise being dropped, she will not be participating in that pageant. In 2021, she also applied to compete in the Miss Universe United Arab Emirates pageant, but the competition was ultimately canceled.
