Filipino expats in Abu Dhabi can access consular services and voting support this weekend

The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced it will open its doors to the public on May 10 and 11, 2025 (Saturday and Sunday), from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., offering a range of essential consular and labor services, alongside onsite assistance for online overseas voting.

During this special weekend schedule, the embassy’s Consular Section will provide services including passport applications and renewals, notarization and authentication of documents, and registration of vital events such as births and marriages.

The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) will also offer key services, including contract verification for the first 200 walk-in applicants, as well as support for Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Social Security System (SSS), and Pag-IBIG/ Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF).

To ensure a smooth voting experience, the embassy encourages Filipinos to allocate sufficient time for onsite voting assistance or for checking their voter status.

Clients are also reminded that all consular transactions during these special service days will be processed as expedited services, subject to an express fee of AED 40.

Those unable to visit in person can still access remote assistance through the following channels:
