Filipino divers from UAE take on Indonesia’s underwater caves in exciting exploration mission

A group of Filipino divers, known as Team Seantric Diving and based in the UAE, has journeyed to Buton Island in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, for a specialized cavern diving training and exploration mission. Led by Raynold Dee Herbito, the team is composed of five individuals dedicated to mastering the art of cavern diving amidst the breathtaking underwater landscapes of “Thousand Cave Island.”

This trip marks the second season Team Seantric Diving has undertaken such an adventure, underlining their commitment to training Filipino divers in the intricacies of navigating cave systems. The team’s purpose is not only to enhance their diving skills but also to explore the unique cave formations that Buton Tengah, South Sulawesi, offers.

The participants in this ambitious expedition include Mark Jason Japa, Ralph Migrinio, and Winston Bernabe.
