A young Filipino contestant representing China has taken home the top title in the Little Miss category at the first-ever Miss / Mrs / Little Miss BRICS 2026 pageant, held in Kazan, Russia from March 1 to 8.
Dumalaog Saffira Kara Guille, a Filipino citizen of Chinese heritage, claimed the Little Miss BRICS 2026 crown before delegates from 17 nations gathered under the competition’s banner of cultural exchange and cross-border friendship among BRICS member states and partner countries.

The eight-day event featured three competitive categories — Little Miss, Miss, and Mrs — with participants engaging in personality development workshops, masterclasses in singing, dancing, and makeup, and charitable programs alongside the formal pageant rounds.
Elipas Sibua, the national director for BRICS pageants who guided Saffira’s preparation and participation, described the competition as standing apart from other international events he has attended. “The standard of the competition was very high, and it was a very well-organized event,” Sibua said. Sibua holds eight international talent and beauty pageant licenses and franchises and has worked as a music educator and mentor helping young performers reach international platforms.

Delegates arriving in Kazan were received with traditional Russian sweets, folk dances, and flower bouquets. Each evening of the competition included gala dinners backed by Russian government institutions, with performances by prominent Russian artists and celebrities.
Following the coronation, Saffira joined the Miss and Mrs BRICS titleholders on a trip to Moscow for a photoshoot commissioned by a luxury jewelry brand that sponsored the winners’ crowns.
