A Filipino real estate broker based in the UAE has achieved a milestone deal in Ras Al Khaimah, closing an AED 1-billion (around PHP 15 billion) off-plan project on Marjan Island in partnership with his former firm.
Aquino Plotado, now an independent agent operating in Ras Al Khaimah, sealed the massive transaction with fäm Properties, the company where he once worked. His move to reconnect with the firm reflects what many see as a blend of sharp business instinct and professional integrity.
Plotado, known for his expertise in the northern emirates’ market, has handled several high-profile transactions, including a lavish AED 17-million penthouse in the Danah Bay development by Dubai Investments — located near the country’s first casino. His real estate record also spans land sales in Umm Al Quwain and multiple residential units on Marjan Island.
“Focusing on Ras Al Khaimah was one of the smartest decisions I made,” Plotado shared. “It allowed me to build stronger relationships, gain unparalleled market knowledge, and serve clients with the highest level of expertise.”
Beyond real estate, Plotado has recently made waves in the creative world. His short film As The Call, So The Echo was a finalist at the 11th Emirates Film Festival, bagging Best Actor (Enzo Pineda) and Best Director (Rusty Palacio Guarin), with additional nods for Best Film and Best Child Actor.
True to his roots, Plotado has also launched a philanthropic drive through his Aquino Plotado Philanthropy Foundation. He donated PHP 1 million to Potrero National High School in Malabon City, his alma mater, and gifted nine printers, a sound system, and financial rewards to over 100 students and 28 teachers.
